So I was going with my best friend, my sister,and a 9(something like that) year old to this park. It took us and hour and 15 mins to get there, BUT eventually we made it to the park ... it was a rainy day btw. So we arrive and we quickly get quite wet.. but its not TOO bad its actually still quite fun at 2 miles (about 45 mins into the trip) adn we stop for lunch, well thats nice and we go to an overlook off the path so it kinda wicked cool. Then we pack up and get going agian, Well now we've gone about 4 miles , and the hike wasn't supposed to be that lond but we were on the day loop so we thought that it was just us and soon we would be out of the forest and to the Ranger station, Well around this time the 9 year old is getting tired and keeps asking to take breaks SO me my sister and my best friend go ahead (at a much faster pace (since I'm the boy OBVIOUSLY *sarcasm* I was the one to go first and take out all the cobwebs). We keep on walking for about 30-40 more mins then we start thinking that the exit MUST be soon (its about 2 hours) and we've walked 5 miles... So we jsut keep on walking and we are talking and all of a sudden My bes friend batts at her arm then just gasps... me and my sister are jsut a bit freaked by this so we ask her whats wrond adn it turns out that she got stung/bit/pinched/??? by some bug so we have to stop and see if there is a sting er and that stops us for about 5 mins and during this time her arm is getting progressively more red adn swollen... . BUt we just keep on walking in teh same direction thing "the Damn Station mus tbe coming SOON" (O the irony) so now we are about 6.5 miles into the forest and have been in about 3 hours. We walk are walking up on a sign and w are thinking "this HAS to freeking be the END sign" so we are really happy and hurry up to the sign ... WELL!!! when we read it we read "6.7 miles to ranger station" !! Well now we KNOW we are lost as hell *we thought the my uncle had taken the CORRECT turn WAY back somewhere and WE had gone on teh wrong trail!!!* especially the sign says that the ranger camp is in the direction we just came in ^_^; weirdly being lost doesn't make you freak out ... rather I jsut started laughing really hard and pretty soon the girls are too and we walk *forward* just eto see if the sign is wrong... bad decision we walk all the way to teh 7.5mile marker DAMN... so we have to walk back but we have NO water OR food .. crap!!! so we have to find my uncle and teh 9 year old ... we end up yelling at the top of our lungs at first we think we are hearing an echo ... but finally we were able to dicern my uncles voice (damn we ran to him ... we were REALLY thirsty). So we talk tpo him and figure that we are NOT lost but rather just MISSED the Fucking dayloop!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we have to walk the WHOLE 7 miles agian! as we start on this journey we Quickly realize that teh 9 year old is having a HARD time (hey he has SHORT legs) and is holding us up... well it just TURNED OUT that it became my little(HUGE) job to keep this little kid going for 7 FREEKING miles so I kept on talking to jim and encouraging him , But the kid just WON'T stop talking and I have to answer adn we talked about EVERYTHING from his choice of sox to a bench that was neat the entrance that was the "GOAL" of our journey and was the ONLY place that we were allowed to stop so We just KEPT ON going. It was kinda unevent ful for the next 4 miles and me and the little kid are behind as hell adn we have ONLY 3 miles left it has been about 6 hours or sumpthing now ans our pace has noticably slowed... bad!.. So I keeped on having to coax him to go a LITTLE(hahaha... ) bitty bit farther. and we actually gor within 1.5 miles andwe HAD to stop... which I finally agreed to (after refusing the first 50 attempts at stopping) and we sat there for like 10 mins... it was HEAVEN but we HAVE to keep going so I finally get this poor kid up and going (which was actually quite hard because after u sit down its HARDER to keep on walking) Its just 1 more mile left to go and we have caught up with the group ... well I'm SO tired of talking and even MORE tired of walking by now and I had to hand the little kid over to my uncle and I went ahead for the last mile ... THAT was the HARDEST thing I have EVER done in my life!!!! And crossing bridges is literally a BAD thing for I'm afraid I might fall in the river while crossing because I'm really woozy, but I was a-OKAY and I FINALLY made it out of the last mile that felt like 9 ... BUt in teh end I learned EVEN if u think you are going on a 3 mile hike ALWAYS bring equitment for a 15 mile one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps: we had purposly taken stuff out of our packs like extra food and clothing and emergency equitment OUT of our packs to make them lighter !!


Well I have more STUFF to talk about but its taken 2 HOURS to write this and I have to go to work tommorow morning

QUACK???...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I"M SO FREEKING GOING TO MEMPHIS IN 5 DAYS that warrants 10000 quacks ... but its late so just know I'm VERY happy
